The plaster sculpture gallery of CAFA is unique professional display hall among domestic art schools. The sculptures of the hall are mainly purchased from Italian Florence of Fine Arts and France Louvre Museum Art Gallery. Among which the plaster mould of some works from foreign countries are all copied from the original works, so this part of the sculptures keep the visage of the original works to the most extension, which are the best samples for studying copy.
The displayed works are altogether 30 pieces, including “Statue of Victory Goddess” “Parthenon Temple’s Relief Frieze” “Good Hall”s Statue of Apollo” of ancient Greece, and “Moses”, “Slave”, “Daytime” and “Evening” of Michelangelo - the great master of sculpture in Italian Renaissance Period.The display hall is mainly used for learning research, sketch teaching, and also open to the art lovers for their visit and study.
