World Design Congress Exhibition is opened in CAFA Art Museum

It was a year since CAFA Art Museum has been constructed in 2008. At the moment when well-received “ CAFA Art Museum Excellent Collections Presentation” and “ Collision—The Cases of Contemporary Chinese Art Experiments” brought to a successful close, World Design Congress Exhibition is held in Art Museum with great enthusiasm and attract many experts and students.
The exhibitions opened today include “Exhibition of Outstanding Design Works from Founder Type Chinese Type Design Competition” in the 1st floor, “Beijing Typography 2009” and “ Chinese Graphic Design in the 20th Century: A Documentary” in the 2nd floor, “Exhibition of Outstanding Graduation Design Works from CAFA” in the 3rd floor and “ AIGA 365: Year in Design 29” in the 4th floor. There are unique style in Chinese type exhibition, the course of China Graphic Design with one climax following another and creativity in Exhibition of Outstanding Design Works showed by the exhibitions. People will enjoy every exhibition in retrospect.
The arrangement of the exhibition is also original. We make good use of the space in CAFA Art Museum and make audience to feel warm and comfortable by coordinating the space, curve and beeline, light and dark, quiet and move, softness and rigidity. Meanwhile, we are trying to show to audience the belief of the congress, that is “faith of communication”. As Principle Wang Hensheng written in his paper “Talking about Art Museum belief”, it is the embodiment and essence of Art Museum public policy that making more and more people be close to art works and spirit works with their best fettle.
There are 12 in 25 exhibitions of World Design Congress are presented in CAFA Art Museum one by one. The opening ceremony of congress exhibitions will be held at 18:00, October, 27th in Art Museum.
