At 6pm, 27th Oct, 2009, World Designing Conference, Exhibition of CAFA Area opening ceremony is held in 1F of Exhibition hall of CAFA Art Museum. There are many famous designer and person from all of the world gathered in Art Museum and it is bustling with noise and excitement.
Mr. Wang Hengsheng, who is the principle of Art Museum, presided over the ceremony. He introduced the VIPs presented to the audience, including Yang Li, secretary of the party committee of college, Pan Gongkai, principle of CAFA, Tan Ping and Xu Bin, vice-principle of CAFA, Sun Hongpei, vice- secretary of the party committee, Zhang Dongnian, chairman of the Icograda Conference, Liang Daoxing, vice-mayor of Shenzheng City, Rousseau Kennedy, the next chairman of Icograda Conference, Richard Grefe, the executive chief inspector of AIGA, Peter Isaacson, the global education vice-president of Adobe corporation. Then, Wang Hengsheng presented every planner of exhibitions, they are: Wang Ziyuan of Character. Beijing 2009 Exhibition, Xu Pin of 20th Century China plane design exhibition and Workshop exhibition, Liu Bo of the 2009 CAFA Excellent Graduation Works Exhibition, Amy of AIGA 365, year of design exhibition, Xiao Yong of Icograda education network communication exhibition, Bruno Porto of the 9th Brazen Plane Design exhibition and Brazen decoration exhibition and Sophie Tomas of Greengaged exhibition.
Some exhibition was also opened that night, including Exhibition of Shenzheng City University Sports meet Design, Adobe Design Achievement Exhibition, the 5th “Founder” Chinese Character Design Exhibition. Presented in opening ceremony are members of Icograda council, special specters, representatives from national and foreign art colleges, representatives of design field, news media and representatives of co-organization and supporters.
In the ceremony, Yang Li, secretary of the party committee of college, Liang Daoxing, vice-mayor of Shenzheng City and Richard Grefe, the executive chief inspector of AIGA made speeches one by one and then Yang li, Pan Gongkai and Zhang Dongnian, Rousseau Kennedy, Peter Isaacson were invited to cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony. The ceremony were end in a satisfactory way. The VIPs from all of the world visited the design exhibition in Art Museum.
World Designing Conference is a global grand conference for those experts of designing field from all of the world and is regarded as “the Olympic of Designing field”. 2009 Beijing World Designing conference is held in Beijing during 24th-30th, Oct. Those designing organizations and excellent designers gathered in Beijing and communicated and discussed with each other on the topic of problems that designing field faced and the present situation of this field. It is a good platform for development of China designing field and communication of international designing ideas.
The exhibition pattern was creative. The planner made full use of the flexible and smart space of Art Museum. There is harmonious feeling of the exhibition works with density, straight or curve, darkness or lightness, movement or quietness, hardness or softness that provide the audience with something cordial and untrammeled.
