中国古代书画卷

中央美术学院的古代书画收藏始于北平艺专时期。邓以蛰(1892—1973) 主持教务时即有入藏。20世纪50年代末60年代初,徐悲鸿任院长期间,美院开始了较大规模的购藏,从北京市特种工艺公司、宝古斋、文物商店、西单商场、悦雅堂等处陆续购置题款为宋元明清的书画,并接收了包括孙宗慰个人捐献在内的几批捐赠,古代书画收藏逾三百件。

同一时期,中央美术学院附中在校长丁井文的寻访搜求下,也收藏了一批明清绘画。20世纪60年代以后,学院又在北京以外的地区,如扬州,进行过购藏,并接收了几次私人和寺庙的捐赠。时至今日,中央美术学院(包含附中)的古代书画收藏已逾两千件。

这批收藏虽不够全面,但尽可能涵盖各时期流派风格,以服务教学和科研为目的,作品也都具有一定研究价值。20世纪80年代至今,针对这批收藏曾有两次大规模的真伪鉴定和展示性研究,并先后出版了两本图录,可梳理为四个阶段。

第一阶段为20世纪80年代,首次对部分精品进行了集中鉴定。1983年,中国古代书画鉴定组对美院选出的249件精品进行了真伪判断和等级评定(其中未包含附中收藏作品)。鉴定组成员为:谢稚柳、启功、徐邦达、杨仁恺、傅熹年、刘九庵、谢辰生。

鉴定组最终鉴选110件作品,目录收入《中国古代书画目录》第一册,其中的42件作品的黑白图像被收入《中国古代书画图目》第一卷,5件被认为极精作品的彩色图像收入《中国古代书画精品录》第一卷。这百余件精品在过去曾经为研究者提供了珍贵材料,也彰显了这批藏品在学术上的重要性。

第二阶段为20世纪90年代,首次大规模展示藏品并出版图录。1993年,中央美术学院主办了“意趣与机抒:明清绘画透析国际学术讨论会”,海内外众多学者出席,会议由靳尚谊、杜键、薛永年、高居翰(James Cahill)、文以诚(Richard Vinograd)等人主持。讨论会期间举办了由薛永年、高居翰策划的展览,展出了由文以诚和尹吉男挑选的104件藏品,并于1994年出版了同名图录(上海书画出版社,1994年)。

这一次的研究性展示,不偏重于对作品真伪的判断,而是从当时社会的艺术趣味入手,在兼顾名家作品的同时,也选入了有益于拓展研究视野的小名家或无款作品。诚如高居翰和文以诚所说:“(这些作品)一类是作为民间宗教和传说以及祭祀所用的宗教画;再一类是文学作品中人物和历史人物在俗文化圈流传过程中形成的固定形象;还有文化观念中已经成为程式的风俗画。”这也是美院古代书画藏品中非名家部分的主要特征。

第三阶段为2000年至2010年,第二本精品图录出版及第二次藏品展示。随着中央美术学院美术史学科的发展、教学对藏品的内在需求和海内外美术史研究的转向,《中央美术学院中国画精品收藏》于2001年出版,收录古代书画藏品60件。同一时期,中央美术学院美术馆新馆的成立为古代书画藏品的展示提供了新的空间。

2009年,由中央美术学院美术馆主办,尹吉男、李军和远小近策划的“历代名画记”展览在新馆开展。展览选取了二百余件古代藏品,在展示结构上借用张彦远《历代名画记》对画科的分类方式,以“人物、鬼神、山水、花鸟、妇女、秘画”六个专题构建了一个古代绘画世界。

值得一提的是,展览为尝试一种对古代书画的新的叙事方式,故选取了少数非名家作品和时代、作者存疑的作品。薛永年教授对展出作品的讲析发表于《美术研究》中。展示、出版为美术史研究提供了新的材料,在这一时期,开始出现针对具体藏品的研究,散见在美术史刊物和硕博士论文中。

第四阶段为2010年至今,新馆着手藏品普查并策划系列小型古代藏品展览,并对藏品进行了第二次集中鉴定。回应全国美术馆藏品普查要求,中央美术学院美术馆新馆对馆内的近两万件藏品进行了普查清点和电子资料录入,并对部分藏品进行了修复,为之后的展览和研究积累了完整有序的图像资料。普查期间,美术馆策划了包括“传统的维度:20世纪五十、六十年代中央美院对民族传统绘画的临摹与购藏展”在内的多个小型古代藏品展览,在定期展示不同面貌古代书画的同时,也对这批作品的收藏历史进行了初步研究。

2017年,在筹备2018年中央美术学院百年校庆系列出版物之际,美术馆组织了学院美术史方向的七位学者,对未经1983 年鉴定组鉴定的部分精品进行选鉴。2017年5月至10月,共组织五次鉴定会议,最终从黄小峰选出的201件作品中鉴选出85件。参会人员为:薛永年、尹吉男、李军、黄小峰、赵力、邵彦、杜娟,其中既有参与过以上三个阶段作品鉴定和展示研究的知名美术史学者,也有美院培养起来的中青年学者,一定程度上反应了中央美术学院在中国美术史研究上的传承。

这本《中央美术学院美术馆藏精品大系·中国古代书画卷》的出版是对以上四个阶段鉴定、研究成果的一次总结。本书收录了1983年鉴定组鉴定为真迹的94件作品和2017年美院鉴定组鉴选出的77件保存状况较好的作品;不仅兼顾历次展览和出版中的重点画作,还纳入了不少从未发表过的作品;在编选作品时注意前辈学者对这批藏品特点的强调,除名家作品外,一些长卷风俗画、肖像画以及无款或托名作品也被首次编入。编者希望在本卷中尽可能全面地展示中央美术学院收藏的面貌,并提示人们注意它所透露出的美术史学科研究转向的可能性。

Article VI

Event participants will participate in the event under the guidance of museum staff and event leaders or instructors and must correctly use the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities provided for the event. If a participant causes injury or harm to him/herself or others while using the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, or causes the damage or destruction of the tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, the event participant must undertake all related liability and provide compensation for the financial losses. Persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for personal accidents.

CAFA Art Museum Portraiture Rights Licensing Agreement

According to The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China, The General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and The Provisional Opinions of the Supreme People’s Court on Some Issues Related to the Full Implementation of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and upon friendly negotiation, Party A and Party B have arrived at the following agreement regarding the use of works bearing Party A’s image in order to clarify the rights and obligations of the portrait licenser (Party A) and the user (Party B):

I. General Provisions

(1) Party A is the portraiture rights holder in this agreement. Party A voluntarily licenses its portraiture rights to Party B for the purposes stipulated in this agreement and permitted by law.

(2) Party B (CAFA Art Museum) is a specialized, international modern art museum. CAFA Art Museum keeps pace with the times, and works to create an open, free, and academic space and atmosphere for positive interaction with groups, corporations, institutions, artists, and visitors. With CAFA’s academic research as a foundation, the museum plans multi-disciplinary exhibitions, conferences, and public education events with participants from around the world, providing a platform for exchange, learning, and exhibition for CAFA’s students and instructors, artists from around the world, and the general public. As a public institution, the primary purposes of CAFA Art Museum’s public education events are academic and beneficial to society.

(3) Party B will photograph all CAFA Public Education Department events for Party A.

II. Content, Forms of Use, and Geographical Scope of Use

(1) Content. The content of images taken by Party B bearing Party A’s likeness include: ① CAFA Art Museum ② CAFA campus ③ All events planned or executed by the CAFAM Public Education Department.

(2) Forms of Use. For use in CAFA’s publications, products with CDs, and promotional materials.

(3) Geographical Scope of Use

The applicable geographic scope is global.

The media in which the portraiture may be used encompasses any media that does not infringe upon Party A’s portraiture rights (e.g., magazines and the internet).

III. Term of Portraiture Rights Use

Use in perpetuity.

IV. Licensing Fees

The fees for images bearing Party A’s likeness will be undertaken by Party B.

After completion, Party B does not need to pay any fees to Party A for images bearing Party A’s likeness.

Additional Terms

(1) All matters not discussed in this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. Both parties may then sign a supplementary agreement, provided it does not violate any laws or regulations.

(2) This agreement comes into effect on the date that it is signed (sealed) and the relevant boxes are selected by Party A and Party B.

(3) This agreement exists in paper and electronic forms. The paper form is made in duplicate, with Party A and Party B each retaining one copy with the same legal efficacy.

Event participants implicitly accept and undertake all the obligations stated in this agreement. Those who do not consent will be seen as abandoning the right to participate in this event. Before participating in this event, please speak to your family members to obtain their consent and inform them of this disclaimer. After participants sign/check the required box, participants and their families will be seen as having read and agreed to these terms.
