7月23日，让·努维尔城市更新国际讲座及先锋论坛在北京中央美术学院美术馆举行。本次活动以“诗意的雄心”为主题，由中央美术学院与北京万科企业有限公司共同主办，由中央美术学院美术馆、中央美术学院建筑学院、北京建院建筑文化传播有限公司（ELCroquis建筑素描）协办，邀请法国建筑大师、第三十届普利兹克奖得主让·努维尔作为主讲人，与北京建筑界各个领域的众位著名专家共同就“如何应对北京的城市更新”这一话题展开探讨。
中央美术学院美术馆馆长王璜生担任本次活动的主持人，出席活动嘉宾包括万科集团副总裁刘肖，万科集团北京区域副总经理王峣，中国工程院院士、中国建筑设计研究院总建筑师崔愷，国家美术馆副馆长谢小凡，全国工程勘察设计大师，北京市建筑设计研究院总建筑师胡越，HOUSE VISON联合策展人、日本著名建筑师土谷贞雄，北京建院建筑文化传播有限公司董事长王舒展，《ELcroquis建筑素描》杂志主编童佳旎及中央美术学院建筑学院副院长崔冬晖。此外多位知名建筑设计师与建筑专业学者也参加了此次活动。
当天的活动共分为三个环节，分别是“诗意的雄心“让·努维尔主旨演讲、”城市更新先锋论坛“以及日本建筑师土谷贞雄“2025：亚洲未来居住与行业创新——HOUSE VISION”国际展览主题演讲。整场活动时长逾4个小时，现场氛围轻松而热烈。

首先由中央美术学院美术馆馆长王璜生开场致词，热烈欢迎了努维尔先生的到来，其后万科集团副总裁刘肖以“用作品致敬时代”为题简洁的阐述了万科作为房地产龙头企业对于城市更新的思考以及此次与让·努维尔合作的初衷。

在接下来近2个小时的时间里，本次活动的主讲人让·努维尔先生用1053页的PPT展开了一场精彩的主旨演讲。努维尔先生以路易斯安纳展览开场，详尽介绍了从上世纪80年代起他在全球各地进行的经典建筑创作，其中既包括巴黎阿拉伯世界文化中心总部、巴塞罗那阿格巴大厦、巴黎交响音乐厅、悉尼中央住宅大楼等西方语境下的经典作品，也包括韩国工业联盟大厦、新加坡Ardmore住宅楼等以亚洲国家为背景的创新实践，其中凝结了他本人对于城市更新问题的思考。
让·努维尔1945年出生于法国洛特佳龙省的福梅尔市，从1970年独立执业至今他在全球设计了超过230座建筑，并在2008年获得了全球最具影响力的建筑奖项普利兹克奖。在近四十年的执业生涯中，他一直是建筑行业全球公认的革新者，他时刻关注着中国的城市化进程，尤其是产业转移、人口转移与城市规划变化将引发北京城市副中心大规模的城市变迁，这与曼哈顿的变迁模式非常类似。而北京万科的“曼哈顿计划”，旨在对城市核心区的存量物业进行现代化的改造，提升城市核心区的活力。
今年，努维尔受北京万科集团的邀请努维尔在北京北四环地带创作了自己在中国的首个高档住宅项目“大都会79号”，以此为契机将他在曼哈顿、悉尼、巴塞罗那等一线大都会城市积累的城市更新经验作为参考，引入对于中国的本土语境下如何应对城市更新趋势的思考，阐述了他对于如何在城市更新中传承城市的诗意的理念与想法。

努维尔前卫的建筑理念激发了众位专家的畅谈。在“先锋论坛”环节，由齐欣担任学术主持人，万科集团副总裁刘肖、北京市建筑设计研究院总建筑师胡越、中央美术学院建筑学院副院长崔冬晖上台与努维尔进行了深入探讨。
众位嘉宾轮流对“如何应对北京城市更新趋势”的一系列问题进行发言。齐欣首先向作为地产投资方代表的嘉宾刘肖提出“商业利益与明星建筑师意志是否会有冲突”的问题，刘肖回答，在当下的时代，好的地产品牌应该对于时代精神有所思考，而从问题的本质来说，商业诉求与城市发展诉求、建筑师进行创作的诉求其实存在着一个平衡的交叉点。建筑师胡越认为当下时代建筑师对于城市更新的作用相比于过去的时代似乎逐渐式微，而对于科技和经济等社会发展标准的参考在当下显示出更多的主导性，而这是否应当提倡仍然值得讨论。崔冬晖副院长也对此表示了认同，他认为相较于“诗意的雄心”一词，“政治的雄心“也许是对于当下中国城市更新状况更为贴切的概括。努维尔讲到，城市更新的问题很多缘起于城市设计，在设计之初不能充分的吸纳建筑师和规划是的建议，而在城市更新问题暴露之后交由建筑师来解决是城市更新趋势下应当避免的现象。
在活动的第三环节中，日本建筑师土谷贞雄以“2025：亚洲未来居住与行业创新——HOUSE VISION”为题介绍了HOUSE VISION东京展览。这是一个以“都市居住新常识”为理念，由日本各个行业的创新企业联手著名建筑师共同探寻未来居住形态的研究项目。HOUSE VISION发起于2010年，目前已在包括中国在内的7个亚洲国家开展。第二届HOUSE VISION东京大展将于7月30日正式开幕，届时将呈现12个“未来居住”展馆。CHINA HOUSE VISION也将在8月12日举办活动，分享一年来的研发成果。

I fully agree to CAFA Art Museum (CAFAM) submitting to CAFA for publication the images, pictures, texts, writings, and event products (such as works created during participation in workshops) related to me from my participation in public events (including museum member events) organized by the CAFA Art Museum Public Education Department. CAFA can publish these materials by electronic, web, or other digital means, and I hereby agree to be included in the China Knowledge Resource Bank, the CAFA Database, the CAFA Art Museum Database, and related data, documentation, and filing institutions and platforms. Regarding their use in CAFA and dissemination on the internet, I agree to make use of these rights according to the stated Rules.
CAFA Art Museum Event Safety Disclaimer
Article I
This event was organized on the principles of fairness, impartiality, and voluntary participation and withdrawal. Participants undertake all risk and liability for themselves. All events have risks, and participants must be aware of the risks related to their chosen event.
Article II

If an event causes any degree of loss or damage to the museum site, space, artworks, or derived products due to an individual, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for losses. The event participant must negotiate and provide compensation according to the relevant legal statutes and museum rules. The museum may sue for legal and financial liability.
Article VI
Event participants will participate in the event under the guidance of museum staff and event leaders or instructors and must correctly use the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities provided for the event. If a participant causes injury or harm to him/herself or others while using the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, or causes the damage or destruction of the tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, the event participant must undertake all related liability and provide compensation for the financial losses. Persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for personal accidents.
CAFA Art Museum Portraiture Rights Licensing Agreement
According to The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China, The General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and The Provisional Opinions of the Supreme People’s Court on Some Issues Related to the Full Implementation of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and upon friendly negotiation, Party A and Party B have arrived at the following agreement regarding the use of works bearing Party A’s image in order to clarify the rights and obligations of the portrait licenser (Party A) and the user (Party B):
I. General Provisions
(1) Party A is the portraiture rights holder in this agreement. Party A voluntarily licenses its portraiture rights to Party B for the purposes stipulated in this agreement and permitted by law.
(2) Party B (CAFA Art Museum) is a specialized, international modern art museum. CAFA Art Museum keeps pace with the times, and works to create an open, free, and academic space and atmosphere for positive interaction with groups, corporations, institutions, artists, and visitors. With CAFA’s academic research as a foundation, the museum plans multi-disciplinary exhibitions, conferences, and public education events with participants from around the world, providing a platform for exchange, learning, and exhibition for CAFA’s students and instructors, artists from around the world, and the general public. As a public institution, the primary purposes of CAFA Art Museum’s public education events are academic and beneficial to society.
(3) Party B will photograph all CAFA Public Education Department events for Party A.
II. Content, Forms of Use, and Geographical Scope of Use
(1) Content. The content of images taken by Party B bearing Party A’s likeness include: ① CAFA Art Museum ② CAFA campus ③ All events planned or executed by the CAFAM Public Education Department.
(2) Forms of Use. For use in CAFA’s publications, products with CDs, and promotional materials.
(3) Geographical Scope of Use
The applicable geographic scope is global.
The media in which the portraiture may be used encompasses any media that does not infringe upon Party A’s portraiture rights (e.g., magazines and the internet).
III. Term of Portraiture Rights Use
Use in perpetuity.
IV. Licensing Fees
The fees for images bearing Party A’s likeness will be undertaken by Party B.
After completion, Party B does not need to pay any fees to Party A for images bearing Party A’s likeness.
Additional Terms
(1) All matters not discussed in this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. Both parties may then sign a supplementary agreement, provided it does not violate any laws or regulations.
(2) This agreement comes into effect on the date that it is signed (sealed) and the relevant boxes are selected by Party A and Party B.
(3) This agreement exists in paper and electronic forms. The paper form is made in duplicate, with Party A and Party B each retaining one copy with the same legal efficacy.
Event participants implicitly accept and undertake all the obligations stated in this agreement. Those who do not consent will be seen as abandoning the right to participate in this event. Before participating in this event, please speak to your family members to obtain their consent and inform them of this disclaimer. After participants sign/check the required box, participants and their families will be seen as having read and agreed to these terms.
