为纪念新中国杰出的美术家和教育家王式廓先生百年诞辰,由中华人民共和国教育部、中华人民共和国文化部和中国文学艺术界联合会主办,中国美术家协会、中国美术馆和中央美术学院承办的“王式廓诞辰100周年纪念活动”于2011年5月6日在中央美术学院美术馆隆重举行。

上午9时,“王式廓诞辰100周年纪念活动” 第一项内容——王式廓诞辰100周年纪念大会开启。中国文联党组副书记、副主席覃志刚,文化部艺术司司长董伟、教育部体卫艺术司副司长廖文科,中国美术馆馆长范迪安,中国美术家协会秘书长刘健在主席台就坐。中国文联国内联络部主任罗成琰,中央美院教授闻立鹏,中国扶贫基金会秘书长王行最,中国红十字基金会副秘书长黑德昆,王式廓先生的夫人吴咸和王式廓的子女:王其智、王荻地、王延荻、王晓欣、王群作为嘉宾到场。党委书记杨力主持纪念大会,院长潘公凯,副院长谭平、徐冰,党委副书记孙红培出席。

10时30分,“从延安到北京——王式廓百年纪念展”开幕。除参加纪念大会的嘉宾外,徐悲鸿纪念馆馆长廖静文先生、李可染基金会董事长邹佩珠、国家博物馆副馆长陈履生、《人民日报》海外版原总编辑詹国枢、商务部流通产业促进中心主任门晓伟、北京市商业联合会副会长高波先生与来自《光明日报》、《中国青年报》、《中国商报》等媒体领导,以及专程从日本前来的国际友人参加了开幕仪式。徐冰副院长主持开幕仪式。潘公凯院长、中国美术馆范迪安馆长和中国美协刘健秘书长先后致辞。

开幕式上,举行了王式廓奖学金颁奖仪式,王式廓先生的夫人吴咸和她的4个女儿共同向中国青少年发展基金会捐资200万元,设立了“王式廓奖学金”,用于资助中央美术学院在校研究生海外考察。潘公凯院长向首届获奖学生王国召、金海慧和胡晓岚颁奖。随后,杨力书记和马骁先生一同揭晓了此次纪念活动出版的两本大型画册《王式廓》和《从延安到北京》。

下午2时,纪念王式廓百年诞辰座谈会在美术馆贵宾厅举行,王式廓先生的家属、生前的同事和学生通过回溯记忆、点评作品和归纳精神等方式,纪念缅怀王式廓先生。

王式廓先生1911年出生于山东省掖县。自幼酷爱美术,在北平美术学院、杭州艺专、上海美专专攻西画。1935年东渡日本,就读于东京美术学校。抗战爆发,王式廓毅然回国,参加抗日救亡活动,进而从武汉奔赴延安。后长期任教于延安鲁艺、北方大学、华北大学及中央美术学院。王式廓毕生致力于艺术创作和艺术教育,桃李满天下,是我国社会主义时期最杰出最著名的画家和美术教育家之一。

作为新中国美术的奠基人之一,王式廓是中国20世纪美术史重要的现实主义画家,他的艺术作品《改造二流子》、《血衣》、《井冈山会师》、《参军》等,是中国现代美术史上的经典作品,产生了极其重要的历史影响。王式廓的代表作大型素描《血衣》,集中体现了他的艺术思想和创作方法,是新中国革命现实主义美术的成功典范,其素描形式与深刻主题使之成为美术史上无与伦比的作品。《血衣》形成的“深入生活—素材写生—草图研究—画布创作”的创作方式,对新中国的主题性创作和学院教学产生了深远的影响。

王式廓的一生是坎坷跌宕的一生,他与20世纪的中国革命与社会主义建设历史同行,既为它贡献自己的一己之力,也因它饱经风霜的考验。王式廓的伟大在于他始终不渝地坚持现实主义的创作精神,坚守艺术的良知和人本主义情怀。他留给我们无尽的精神财富,我们今天纪念他也是接受他的艺术精神的感召,开拓新世纪的艺术创造。

“从延安到北京——王式廓百年纪念展”汇集了700多件作品以及相关资料展现“土地之子”王式廓的生命情怀,希望通过对王式廓艺术人生的深入研究和展示,进一步认识现代中国美术的历史,研究波澜壮阔的现代中国的革命史与社会发展史,对这双重的历史进行研究,以期廓清复杂曲折的20世纪历史的线索和轨迹,揭示时代的发展情景和真实状态。

本次展览将展出收藏于中国美术馆等地及其家属捐赠的王式廓作品,包括油画、木刻、素描、速写、手稿、草图,以及《血衣》、《改造二流子》、《井冈山会师》等大家熟知的经典作品。展览以“从延安到北京”这个关键词为思路,以时间为线索分为四大板块:一是光明在前——走向延安;二是激情岁月——延安时期;三是大地之子——新中国新生活;四是壮志未酬——70年代。其中第三个板块又分作七个单元,分别是:世纪之作——《血衣》、民族魂韵——革命历史题材创作、时代新歌——劳动与建设、广大精微——教学实践、出入中西——旅欧纪事、湖山清远——风景与写生、赤子之心——生活与亲情。展览将展出至2011年6月5日。

CAFA can publish these materials by electronic, web, or other digital means, and I hereby agree to be included in the China Knowledge Resource Bank, the CAFA Database, the CAFA Art Museum Database, and related data, documentation, and filing institutions and platforms. Regarding their use in CAFA and dissemination on the internet, I agree to make use of these rights according to the stated Rules.

Article I

This event was organized on the principles of fairness, impartiality, and voluntary participation and withdrawal. Participants undertake all risk and liability for themselves. All events have risks, and participants must be aware of the risks related to their chosen event.

Article V

During the event, event participants should respect the order of the museum event and ensure the safety of the museum site, the artworks in displays, exhibitions, and collections, and the derived products. If an event causes any degree of loss or damage to the museum site, space, artworks, or derived products due to an individual, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for losses. The event participant must negotiate and provide compensation according to the relevant legal statutes and museum rules. The museum may sue for legal and financial liability.

Article VI

Event participants will participate in the event under the guidance of museum staff and event leaders or instructors and must correctly use the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities provided for the event. If a participant causes injury or harm to him/herself or others while using the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, or causes the damage or destruction of the tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, the event participant must undertake all related liability and provide compensation for the financial losses. Persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for personal accidents.

CAFA Art Museum Portraiture Rights Licensing Agreement

According to The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China, The General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and The Provisional Opinions of the Supreme People’s Court on Some Issues Related to the Full Implementation of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and upon friendly negotiation, Party A and Party B have arrived at the following agreement regarding the use of works bearing Party A’s image in order to clarify the rights and obligations of the portrait licenser (Party A) and the user (Party B):

I. General Provisions

(1) Party A is the portraiture rights holder in this agreement. Party A voluntarily licenses its portraiture rights to Party B for the purposes stipulated in this agreement and permitted by law.

(2) Party B (CAFA Art Museum) is a specialized, international modern art museum. CAFA Art Museum keeps pace with the times, and works to create an open, free, and academic space and atmosphere for positive interaction with groups, corporations, institutions, artists, and visitors. With CAFA’s academic research as a foundation, the museum plans multi-disciplinary exhibitions, conferences, and public education events with participants from around the world, providing a platform for exchange, learning, and exhibition for CAFA’s students and instructors, artists from around the world, and the general public. As a public institution, the primary purposes of CAFA Art Museum’s public education events are academic and beneficial to society.

(3) Party B will photograph all CAFA Public Education Department events for Party A.

II. Content, Forms of Use, and Geographical Scope of Use

(1) Content. The content of images taken by Party B bearing Party A’s likeness include: ① CAFA Art Museum ② CAFA campus ③ All events planned or executed by the CAFAM Public Education Department.

(2) Forms of Use. For use in CAFA’s publications, products with CDs, and promotional materials.

(3) Geographical Scope of Use

The applicable geographic scope is global.

The media in which the portraiture may be used encompasses any media that does not infringe upon Party A’s portraiture rights (e.g., magazines and the internet).

III. Term of Portraiture Rights Use

Use in perpetuity.

IV. Licensing Fees

The fees for images bearing Party A’s likeness will be undertaken by Party B.

After completion, Party B does not need to pay any fees to Party A for images bearing Party A’s likeness.

Additional Terms

(1) All matters not discussed in this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. Both parties may then sign a supplementary agreement, provided it does not violate any laws or regulations.

(2) This agreement comes into effect on the date that it is signed (sealed) and the relevant boxes are selected by Party A and Party B.

(3) This agreement exists in paper and electronic forms. The paper form is made in duplicate, with Party A and Party B each retaining one copy with the same legal efficacy.

Event participants implicitly accept and undertake all the obligations stated in this agreement. Those who do not consent will be seen as abandoning the right to participate in this event. Before participating in this event, please speak to your family members to obtain their consent and inform them of this disclaimer. After participants sign/check the required box, participants and their families will be seen as having read and agreed to these terms.
