6月18日，在社会各界期盼的目光中，中国共产党历史展览馆正式开馆。当天下午，习近平等党和国家领导人来到这里，参观“‘不忘初心、牢记使命’中国共产党历史展览”。
广场上，五大主题雕塑雄伟矗立，震撼人心。大型党旗雕塑《旗帜》气势如虹，深刻反映出旗帜就是方向、旗帜就是力量。《信仰》《伟业》《攻坚》《追梦》四组大型雕塑分别对应“四个伟大”主题，276个人物与583块汉白玉融为一体，人势与山势相依，庄重、巍然，讲述着中国共产党一百年来为人民谋幸福、为民族谋复兴的奋斗历程。
这五组雕塑由中央美术学院、中国美术学院、清华大学美术学院、鲁迅美术学院、中国美术馆等有关单位共同参与创作。其中，雕塑《信仰》由中央美术学院创作。
《信仰》宣传片
“伟大工程”雕塑作品《信仰》以具象写实的人物群像，以及标志性的历史事件、人物和成就等为背景元素，以“宣誓”表达坚定的政治信念，生动艺术地展现了百年来中国共产党队伍的不断壮大、党的事业蓬勃发展，中国共产党领导全国各族人民，为实现中华民族伟大复兴梦想、朝着共产主义远大目标奋进的豪迈情怀和必胜信念，凸显了新时代、新气象、新风貌。
中央美术学院“二.一”工程《信仰》
尺寸：长14.6米，宽4.5米，高6.85米
由中央美术学院团队集体创作
作品运用写实主义、象征主义与英雄主义的艺术风格，突出表现中国共产党员在党旗下庄严“宣誓”的群像，以圆雕为主要表现手段，作品分A面和B面两个主要视角，可四面观赏，都以时间顺序展开构图，分为四大板块，从历史到现在依次是“新民主主义革命时期”“社会主义革命和建设时期”“改革开放时期”和“新时代”，人物总数为71人，这些人物形象都是中国共产党人在各个历史时期的重要精英代表。71位不同时代、不同身份、不同年龄人物组成的宣誓群像，象征性地表现了一百年来中国共产党披荆斩棘，带领人民建设祖国，走向更美好的未来，气势恢宏、博大，给人一种精神震撼力和强烈的视觉冲击力。
作为集体创作，这件作品也充分发挥了中央美术学院雕塑系的学术优势，作品里的每一位人物都雕塑得有典型性、标志性，通过朴实的具象写实的方式表达了作者们发自内心的强烈感受，被认为是当代中国现实主义具象写实雕塑的新的标杆。是新一代的中央美院雕塑人传承老一辈雕塑家的优良传统，将美院写实主义传统极大发扬的重要作品。
《信仰》的领衔主创中央美术学院教授吕品昌谈到，中央美术学院很荣幸参与了建党100周年主题雕塑工程并接受了《信仰》雕塑创作任务。从2018年6月至今，在中宣部、中国文联和中国美协的指导之下，中央美术学院高度重视，书记院长抓落实。尤其是范迪安院长始终站在创作的第一线宏观把控，在整体作品的构思、立意、艺术效果，以及人物形象等方面都参与讨论并给予指导，大家都抱着同一个信念——做到卓越，为新时代创造一次经典，留下雕塑史上又一件传世之作。
吕教授认为，参与中国共产党党史展览馆主题雕塑《信仰》的创作，让我们对主题性雕塑创作的意义有了更深刻的认识，总结起来有多方面的体会和心得：一方面，主题性创作涉及对历史与时代的深入认识，如果不去发掘历史、呼应时代，创作出来的作品会流于形式，无法真正打动人心。另一方面，主题性雕塑创作应该在尊重历史与现实的前提下，充分发挥创作者的鲜活个性，以免成为缺乏情感和魅力的“形象工程”。只有保持思想性和艺术性的统一，主题性雕塑才有鲜活生命力。
创作过程
为了庆祝中国共产党成立100周年，中央美术学院特别策划“百年征程 精神图谱——庆祝中国共产党成立100周年专题展”，本次展览以中央美术学院美术馆藏经典作品为基础，同时汇集了学院教学单位和教师近年来的优秀作品，展出作品近300件，是近年来中央美术学院最大规模的艺术专题展。其中，在中央美院美术馆一层展厅，雕塑《信仰》的创作小稿正在展出，呈现了艺术创作的幕后过程。欢迎各位公众前来参观，展览将持续至9月5日。

Regarding their use in CAFA and dissemination on the internet, I agree to make use of these rights according to the stated Rules.
CAFA Art Museum Event Safety Disclaimer
Article I
This event was organized on the principles of fairness, impartiality, and voluntary participation and withdrawal. Participants undertake all risk and liability for themselves. All events have risks, and participants must be aware of the risks related to their chosen event.
Article II
Event participants must abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, as well as moral and ethical norms. All participants must demonstrate good character, respect for others, friendship, and a willingness to help others.
Article III
Event participants should be adults (people 18 years or older with full civil legal capacity). Underage persons must be accompanied by an adult.
Article IV
Event participants undertake all liability for their personal safety during the event, and event participants are encouraged to purchase personal safety insurance. Should an accident occur during an event, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for the accident, but both have the obligation to provide assistance. Event participants should actively organize and implement rescue efforts, but do not undertake any legal or economic liability for the accident itself. The museum does not undertake civil or joint liability for the personal safety of event participants.
Article V
During the event, event participants should respect the order of the museum event and ensure the safety of the museum site, the artworks in displays, exhibitions, and collections, and the derived products. If an event causes any degree of loss or damage to the museum site, space, artworks, or derived products due to an individual, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for losses. The event participant must negotiate and provide compensation according to the relevant legal statutes and museum rules. The museum may sue for legal and financial liability.
Article VI
Event participants will participate in the event under the guidance of museum staff and event leaders or instructors and must correctly use the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities provided for the event. If a participant causes injury or harm to him/herself or others while using the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, or causes the damage or destruction of the tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, the event participant must undertake all related liability and provide compensation for the financial losses. Persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for personal accidents.
CAFA Art Museum Portraiture Rights Licensing Agreement
According to The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China, The General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and The Provisional Opinions of the Supreme People’s Court on Some Issues Related to the Full Implementation of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and upon friendly negotiation, Party A and Party B have arrived at the following agreement regarding the use of works bearing Party A’s image in order to clarify the rights and obligations of the portrait licenser (Party A) and the user (Party B):
I. General Provisions
(1) Party A is the portraiture rights holder in this agreement. Party A voluntarily licenses its portraiture rights to Party B for the purposes stipulated in this agreement and permitted by law.
(2) Party B (CAFA Art Museum) is a specialized, international modern art museum. CAFA Art Museum keeps pace with the times, and works to create an open, free, and academic space and atmosphere for positive interaction with groups, corporations, institutions, artists, and visitors. With CAFA’s academic research as a foundation, the museum plans multi-disciplinary exhibitions, conferences, and public education events with participants from around the world, providing a platform for exchange, learning, and exhibition for CAFA’s students and instructors, artists from around the world, and the general public. As a public institution, the primary purposes of CAFA Art Museum’s public education events are academic and beneficial to society.
(3) Party B will photograph all CAFA Public Education Department events for Party A.
II. Content, Forms of Use, and Geographical Scope of Use
(1) Content. The content of images taken by Party B bearing Party A’s likeness include: ① CAFA Art Museum ② CAFA campus ③ All events planned or executed by the CAFAM Public Education Department.
(2) Forms of Use. For use in CAFA’s publications, products with CDs, and promotional materials.
(3) Geographical Scope of Use
The applicable geographic scope is global.
The media in which the portraiture may be used encompasses any media that does not infringe upon Party A’s portraiture rights (e.g., magazines and the internet).
III. Term of Portraiture Rights Use
Use in perpetuity.
IV. Licensing Fees
The fees for images bearing Party A’s likeness will be undertaken by Party B.
After completion, Party B does not need to pay any fees to Party A for images bearing Party A’s likeness.
Additional Terms
(1) All matters not discussed in this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. Both parties may then sign a supplementary agreement, provided it does not violate any laws or regulations.
(2) This agreement comes into effect on the date that it is signed (sealed) and the relevant boxes are selected by Party A and Party B.
(3) This agreement exists in paper and electronic forms. The paper form is made in duplicate, with Party A and Party B each retaining one copy with the same legal efficacy.
Event participants implicitly accept and undertake all the obligations stated in this agreement. Those who do not consent will be seen as abandoning the right to participate in this event. Before participating in this event, please speak to your family members to obtain their consent and inform them of this disclaimer. After participants sign/check the required box, participants and their families will be seen as having read and agreed to these terms.
