The "Fashion 100" Project under the "Youth Partner Program" of the Chinese Artists Association, guided by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, hosted by the Chinese Artists Association, co-organized by the Fine Arts Art Center of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, and assisted by the Fashion Design Art Committee of the Chinese Artists Association, the Art Museum of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and the China Fashion Association, is about to usher in the grand release of its core achievements. As a youth design talent development initiative, this marks a significant move by the Chinese Artists Association to integrate fashion design into its core talent development system for the first time. Adhering to the core tenet of "Academics First, Independent Thinking, Innovation Leadership", the project is committed to discovering and fostering a group of leading Chinese fashion design talents with aesthetic confidence, cultural soft power and academic distinctiveness.

Since the official launch of the project in April 2025, "Fashion 100" has gathered young design talents from 59 key universities and renowned design institutions across the country. One hundred finalist designers, rigorously selected from 390 applications, have participated in intensive training and on-site research covering five major modules, including national narrative, cultural root-seeking, business logic, and cutting-edge technology. Subsequently, the jury panel composed of academic leaders from prestigious universities and senior industry experts conducted multiple rounds of rigorous reviews of the participants' works. Following a comprehensive evaluation of creativity, craftsmanship, styling, and stage effects, the outstanding works that have finally stood out are about to present a substantial response to the public.

At 20:20 on March 22, 2026, as a key part of the official schedule of China Fashion Week, the presentation and show for the conclusion of the first "Fashion 100" under the "Youth Partner Program" of the Chinese Artists Association will officially kick off at the CAFA Art Museum. Breaking away from a single release model, this event adopts a deep integration of a dynamic opening gala show and a static exhibition, comprehensively and three-dimensionally presenting the exploration context of young designers. With the core of exploring the origin of creation and inheriting cultural genes, the participating works deeply root in the tradition of Chinese aesthetics, while connecting with international frontiers with an open vision, subtly interweaving Oriental implications and avant-garde expressions.

What is particularly worth anticipating is the bold innovation in venue planning and audience experience for this exhibition. Leveraging the unique architectural space of the CAFA Art Museum, the show venue has been elaborately constructed into a multi-dimensional three-dimensional structure. In contrast to the traditional runway, the three-dimensional venue provides models with a deeper and more extended walking path, creating a fascinating cross-space dialogue between the dynamic fashion presentation and the surrounding static exhibits. Following this deeply layered path, the audience will be immersed in the artistic space with its staggered layout, experiencing every breakthrough in the cutting, fabrics, and craftsmanship of the garments.
