On March 31, a meeting for announcing personnel appointments was held at the Academic Lecture Hall of the CAFA Art Museum. Li Yaochen was appointed Deputy Secretary of the Directly Affiliated Party Branch of the CAFA Art Museum.

Yu Yang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, stated that the meeting announced the university’s appointment decision regarding Comrade Li Yaochen, reflecting the university’s high priority on the cadre development and institutional progress of the CAFA Art Museum. Li Yaochen has worked at the CAFA Art Museum for more than ten years with a diligent and pragmatic work attitude, which has been widely recognized by all. At present, the university is embracing a new momentum of development. As an important platform of the university, the Art Museum plays an irreplaceable role both academically and socially. Under the leadership of the University Party Committee, the Art Museum has achieved remarkable results in exhibiting its fine collections, organizing academic activities and other fields. It is not only the “name card” and “reception hall” of the university, but also an important window to showcase the university’s academic reputation. At this new developmental stage, it is hoped that after taking office, Li Yaochen will set strict demands on himself, set an example for others, and bravely undertake key responsibilities in Party building and disciplinary development. It is also expected that all colleagues of the Art Museum, under the leadership of the University Party Committee, will jointly promote the Art Museum’s various undertakings to reach new heights.

On behalf of the leading group of the Art Museum, Han Wenchao, Secretary of the Party Branch directly under the Art Museum, stated: First, we firmly support the decisions, arrangements and personnel appointments of the Party Committee. Second, we sincerely thank the university's party and administrative leading groups for their consistent and firm support for the development of the Art Museum. Today's appointment meeting fully reflects the clear orientation of the university Party Committee in giving top priority to Party building. The CAFA Art Museum will take this opportunity to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, fully align with the strategic plans for prospering and developing socialist culture outlined in the 15th Five-Year Plan, integrate Party leadership into the entire process of work, and advance development through high-quality Party building. Comrade Li Yaochen has been working at CAFA Art Museum since 2010, rooting himself at the frontline and dedicating himself silently for 16 years. Li Yaochen, Deputy Secretary of the Directly Affiliated Party Branch of the CAFA Art Museum, expressed his gratitude in his inaugural speech to the trust and care from the university organization, as well as the support and assistance from his colleagues.
He noted that CAFA Art Museum, as a lofty platform, has provided him with broad space for practice, enabling him to continuously improve and grow through his work. In his new position, he will devote himself to work with greater enthusiasm and a more pragmatic attitude, firmly uphold a correct view on performance, deliver tangible results through solid work, and live up to the great trust placed in him by the organization. He will remain true to his original aspiration and fulfill his mission, repaying the organization’s training and trust with concrete actions.
