As the 2026 CAFA Graduation Season draws to a successful close, the CAFA Art Museum makes an official announcement: a total of 30 outstanding graduate artworks from this year’s graduation season have been added to its permanent collection, including 14 postgraduate works and 16 undergraduate works. The body of work covers a wide range of mediums, such as Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, mural painting, calligraphy, sculpture, design, video and moving image, and picture books. This acquisition not only highlights the academic value of graduation creative works, but also embodies the sharpest artistic perceptions of our era. For every graduate, having their work collected by the alma mater’s art museum marks a transformative leap from student creation to formal artistic canon. These thirty young artists will have their names stand alongside distinguished predecessors of the Academy, jointly shaping the contemporary chapter of CAFA’s century-old artistic legacy.
