2013年4月6日上午9点,“北平艺专与民国美术”学术研讨会在中央美院美术馆学术报告厅举行,本次研讨会由中央美院人文学院、中央美院美术馆主办。会议策划人分别是中央美院人文学院院长尹吉男教授、中央美院美术馆馆长王璜生教授、中央美院人文学院美术史系副主任曹庆晖副教授。
讲台上摆放着白色的百合花和粉色的康乃馨,光线呈现柔和的橘色,观众席静下来,“北平艺专与民国美术”学术研讨会开幕式,人文学院美术史系副主任曹庆晖副教授担任主持,曹教授指出此次研讨会发端于正在我馆展出的《中央美院美术馆藏北平艺专精品陈列(西画部分)》,经过3个月的筹备,在校庆95周年前夕如期举行。随后曹教授介绍了参加研讨会的学者。
院长潘公凯教授致辞:北平艺专的历史与中央美院的发展是紧密相关的,是割不断的。2018年将举行中央美院百年校庆,对中央美院历史的梳理在某种意义上也是对20世纪中国美术发展历程的梳理。潘院长指出王璜生馆长、尹吉男教授花了很多功夫筹备这一高学术的研讨会是很有意义的,国内研究这段历史的专家几乎都来了,并认为事先出版了论文(《北平艺专与民国美术学术研讨会论文集》初稿/提纲)是很好的,在发言的最后潘院长代表中央美院师生对远道而来的专家学者表示欢迎和感谢。
人文学院院长尹吉男教授的致辞从美院建院90周年特别制作的电视片《为中国造型》谈起,表示希望试着为国立北平艺专再做一部电视片《为中国美育》。尹教授谈到他本人对本次学术讨论会的期待:我相信好的学术研究一定会超过粗线条的电视构想,会更为细腻而精准地演示一系列的学术进展,体现历史与文化的复杂性。
中央美院美术馆馆长王璜生教授在致辞中谈到:这次研讨会与我们上阶段所做的北平艺专藏品的展览共同组成一个大的学术事件,作为学院的美术馆,我们非常重视与大学的专家学者共同进行相关的展览研究,在这次的合作中,王璜生馆长感谢尹吉男教授、曹庆晖副教授和各位学者的支持,形成了整个学院学术力量的整合和学术工作的展开。
接着,主持人曹庆晖副教授宣读会议规则,当天的议程分为4场主题发言与研讨,第一场的主题关键词是“早期师资”。邀请第一场主持人、评议人就位。第一场主持人尹吉男教授。最先发言的是澳门美术协会陈继春:郑锦日本生涯初探,发言致力于梳理郑锦留日的行状,认为在没有新的材料发现之前,郑锦可能是近代中国留日学习美术的第一位学生,同时,也是第一位入选日本“帝展”的中国人。第二位发言人是中国艺术研究院研究员郎绍君先生:北京艺专国画系主任萧俊贤。郎先生在详实、生动的发言中介绍了萧俊贤的生平;萧俊贤与北京艺专的关系以及萧俊贤的书画。郎先生认为萧俊贤是中国近代一位大家。在结语中郎先生说:“我希望大家能够关心这个人,我们中央美观有过这样一个系主任、代理校长,现在大家把他忘了,应该去挖掘他重新评价他。”第三位发言人中国艺术研究院美术研究所副所长郑工:绘画中的历史细节——读李毅士的《陈师曾像》与《王梦白像》,借在我馆展出的《中央美院美术馆藏北平艺专精品陈列(西画部分)》中李毅士的2幅画引伸开来的一种阅读和思考,探讨了1920年前后北京画坛人际交往的状况,补充了一些历史细节。三位的发言结束后,薛永年教授进行了点评。
短暂的茶歇后,第二场主题发言与研讨开始。李公明担任主持人,第一位发言人中国美术馆研究员、中国美术家协会理论委员会主任刘曦林:北平艺专史事二则,关于“阿博洛学会”和王石之与留守艺专。第二位发言人中国艺术研究院副研究员杭春晓:“国”的想象与表述——溥心畬的“自我假定”与“主体重构”。第三位发言人中国艺术研究院副研究员华天雪:徐悲鸿的一九四九。郎绍君先生对三位的发言给予点评。
上午的议程结束后,与会代表在弧形台阶处合影,之后进行简单的午餐。
下午1点55分,第三场准时开始。主持人由郑工担任。首先发言的是上海大学美术学院教授潘耀昌:盛世修史:美院校史准备好了吗?潘教授在发言中讨论了新中国成立后首次美术院校校史编撰的思路和各校之间具体存在的差异。第二位发言人是广东湛江师范学院美术学院副教授彭飞:国立北平艺专与民国北京画坛。第三位发言人是清华大学美术学院教授陈瑞林,探讨了“国画复活运动、国立北平艺专、齐白石与新中国画的建构”这一主题。中央美院《美术研究》编辑、助理研究员张涛最后发言,他的发言题目为《齐白石与国立北平艺专》。在四位的发言后,刘曦林先生进行了评议。
第四场主题发言与讨论,也是当天的最后一场,华天雪担任主持。第一位发言人是上海大学美术学院教授李超:张弦和北平艺专——中国近现代美术“南北线”资源问题,从艺术家张弦与北平艺专“擦肩而过”的悲情因缘谈起。随后发言的首都师范大学美术学院副教授莫艾,题为《徐悲鸿民国前期形式探索的再观看与理解》。第三位发言人北京画院美术馆馆长吴洪亮:“求其在我——读孙宗慰的作品与人生”。陈瑞林先生对发言做了点评。
一天的议程结束了,主持人曹庆晖副教授邀请与会的学者们移步美术馆贵宾厅参观郑锦先生的4件原作,各位表示了浓厚的兴趣。
清明,“清淡明智”。值此季节,我们在此言说、清谈那些故人、那些故事,纪念北平艺专历史的前辈。

Regarding their use in CAFA and dissemination on the internet, I agree to make use of these rights according to the stated Rules.

Article I
This event was organized on the principles of fairness, impartiality, and voluntary participation and withdrawal. Participants undertake all risk and liability for themselves. All events have risks, and participants must be aware of the risks related to their chosen event.

During the event, event participants should respect the order of the museum event and ensure the safety of the museum site, the artworks in displays, exhibitions, and collections, and the derived products. If an event causes any degree of loss or damage to the museum site, space, artworks, or derived products due to an individual, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for losses. The event participant must negotiate and provide compensation according to the relevant legal statutes and museum rules. The museum may sue for legal and financial liability.
Article VI
Event participants will participate in the event under the guidance of museum staff and event leaders or instructors and must correctly use the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities provided for the event. If a participant causes injury or harm to him/herself or others while using the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, or causes the damage or destruction of the tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, the event participant must undertake all related liability and provide compensation for the financial losses. Persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for personal accidents.
CAFA Art Museum Portraiture Rights Licensing Agreement
According to The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China, The General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and The Provisional Opinions of the Supreme People’s Court on Some Issues Related to the Full Implementation of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and upon friendly negotiation, Party A and Party B have arrived at the following agreement regarding the use of works bearing Party A’s image in order to clarify the rights and obligations of the portrait licenser (Party A) and the user (Party B):
I. General Provisions
(1) Party A is the portraiture rights holder in this agreement. Party A voluntarily licenses its portraiture rights to Party B for the purposes stipulated in this agreement and permitted by law.
(2) Party B (CAFA Art Museum) is a specialized, international modern art museum. CAFA Art Museum keeps pace with the times, and works to create an open, free, and academic space and atmosphere for positive interaction with groups, corporations, institutions, artists, and visitors. With CAFA’s academic research as a foundation, the museum plans multi-disciplinary exhibitions, conferences, and public education events with participants from around the world, providing a platform for exchange, learning, and exhibition for CAFA’s students and instructors, artists from around the world, and the general public. As a public institution, the primary purposes of CAFA Art Museum’s public education events are academic and beneficial to society.
(3) Party B will photograph all CAFA Public Education Department events for Party A.
II. Content, Forms of Use, and Geographical Scope of Use
(1) Content. The content of images taken by Party B bearing Party A’s likeness include: ① CAFA Art Museum ② CAFA campus ③ All events planned or executed by the CAFAM Public Education Department.
(2) Forms of Use. For use in CAFA’s publications, products with CDs, and promotional materials.
(3) Geographical Scope of Use
The applicable geographic scope is global.
The media in which the portraiture may be used encompasses any media that does not infringe upon Party A’s portraiture rights (e.g., magazines and the internet).
III. Term of Portraiture Rights Use
Use in perpetuity.
IV. Licensing Fees
The fees for images bearing Party A’s likeness will be undertaken by Party B.
After completion, Party B does not need to pay any fees to Party A for images bearing Party A’s likeness.
Additional Terms
(1) All matters not discussed in this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. Both parties may then sign a supplementary agreement, provided it does not violate any laws or regulations.
(2) This agreement comes into effect on the date that it is signed (sealed) and the relevant boxes are selected by Party A and Party B.
(3) This agreement exists in paper and electronic forms. The paper form is made in duplicate, with Party A and Party B each retaining one copy with the same legal efficacy.
Event participants implicitly accept and undertake all the obligations stated in this agreement. Those who do not consent will be seen as abandoning the right to participate in this event. Before participating in this event, please speak to your family members to obtain their consent and inform them of this disclaimer. After participants sign/check the required box, participants and their families will be seen as having read and agreed to these terms.
