“油画中国风——董希文百年诞辰纪念展”隆重开幕
时值隆冬,中央美术学院美术馆报告厅却溢满春意,来自全国各地的美术界朋友与中央美术学院老艺术家、中青年教师、学生聚集一堂,共同缅怀艺术大师,分享大师留给我们的艺术光芒。为纪念董希文诞辰100周年,中央美术学院主办的《油画中国风——董希文百年诞辰纪念展》于2014年12月19日隆重开幕。此次展览得到了文化部、教育部和中国文联的大力支持,同时,中国美术家协会、中国国家博物馆、中国人民革命军事博物馆、中国美术馆、中国美术学院、敦煌研究院共同参与协办。这一大型展览的开幕,标志着“百年辉煌•中央美术学院艺术名家”工程的正式启动。
文化部副部长董伟,中国文联党组成员、副主席、书记处书记左中一,全国政协常委、中国美协名誉主席、老院长靳尚谊,教育部体卫艺司正司级巡视员廖文科,中国美术家协会分党组书记吴长江,中宣部文艺局副局长许先锋,中国国家博物馆副馆长李六三,中国人民革命军事博物馆政委孟世强,中国美术馆副馆长谢小凡、安远远,中国美术学院副院长王赞,敦煌研究院美术所所长侯黎明,董希文先生的亲属董沙雷、董一沙,以及众多美术界艺术名家侯一民、詹建俊、金维诺、钟涵、杜键、靳之林、闻立鹏、杨先让、李化吉、戴泽、常沙娜、盛扬、袁运生、孙景波等老先生,董希文先生的学生,以及美院的师生出席了开幕式。我院党委书记高洪主持了开幕仪式。
院长范迪安在开幕式上致辞。他指出,在20世纪中国美术的历史进程中,董希文先生是一位为中国油画艺术和美术教育的发展做出毕生贡献的艺术大家与名师,董希文一方面在自己的艺术创作实践中探索“油画民族化”的道路,一方面在教育教学中坚持贯彻这一艺术主张,为新中国培养了一大批杰出的油画艺术家。在董希文先生诞辰百年之际,中央美术学院几代人怀着真挚的情感和许久的愿望,投入到这次展览的筹备中,首次把各大博物馆、美术馆和学术机构收藏作品,以及家属保存的董希文作品汇集一堂,成为迄今为止展出的董希文存世作品数量最多的一次重大的展示活动,以此让社会公众再次领会董希文先生的伟大创造。
通过隆重纪念董希文先生诞辰一百周年,促使我们思考中国美术和美术教育的使命、责任和发展路向。作为新时期的文艺工作者,我们应当学习和继承董希文志存高远的文化理想,高度的文化自觉意识和文化自信精神,扎根人民扎根生活的艺术精神和言传身教、立德育人的教育教学风范。
老院长靳尚谊先生作为董希文先生的学生代表在开幕式上致辞,他饱含深情地回忆了董希文先生教学与指导学生创作的感人故事和动人细节,回忆了《开国大典》、《春到西藏》、《红军不怕远征难》等一批经典佳作的创作过程,“1952年创作《开国大典》时,董先生就在宿舍起稿,2个月的时间,就在西总布胡同那间狭窄的平房里完成了整个作品。” 虽已历经一个甲子的时光,忆起当时的情形,靳尚谊仍历历在目。 董希文先生是很有才能的艺术家,对于油画民族化、中国风的发展起了极其关键的作用,他的《开国大典》、《春到西藏》,包括《红军不怕远征难》,都是中国近现代油画艺术中十分经典、具有开创性的作品,在他诞辰百年之时,中央美术学院以一次全面的展览怀念这位油画大师是十分重要的。他希望通过展览,能让社会公众,特别是现在中央美院的师生,从董希文先生的艺术创作和他一生的经历中汲取营养,推动中国艺术未来的发展。
中国美协分党组书记、常务副主席吴长江在致辞中高度评价了董希文先生的杰出成就和艺术精神。他指出,董希文是一位具有高尚道德情操和人格魅力的优秀美术家,以董希文先生为代表的一代中国美术家以崇高的理想主义精神境界,全心全意服务国家和社会,展现出无私奉献,忠诚担当的家国情怀。董希文提出在借鉴西方绘画语言的同时,强调美术创作的中国气派和民族风格,正是他对传统文化艺术的深刻体悟和总结,积极摸索如何走出中国现代美术之路的具体体现。当我们深入研究董希文先生的作品和艺术思想时,应充分注重研究艺术传统,精研艺术规律,真正地深入生活,为人民而创作、为人民而抒写,为不断推进和繁荣中国当代美术的发展做出我们的贡献。
开幕式最后,家属代表董希文之女董一沙表达了对中央美术学院及为展览付出努力的各界人士的感激之情,“父亲的画感召大家追求阳光,享受阳光,敢于向往阳光,这是他留给大家最珍贵的东西。” 她激动地说:“父亲在短暂的人生中创作了很多脍炙人口的作品,但他从没给自己过过生日,今天大家共同在这里隆重地纪念他,是给他过的最好的百岁生日。”
“油画中国风——董希文百年诞辰纪念展”的开幕,体现了国家和文化界、美术界对董希文先生的崇高敬意。董希文对民族文化的崇高信仰和文化自觉,这些既是现代中国美术史乃至文化史的宝贵遗产,在今天尤其有激励和启发的重要现实意义。展览开幕之际,三场学术研讨会同时举办,美术界几代艺术家、学者同堂论艺,共同缅怀董希文的艺术与美术教育人生,围绕“艺术与时代”、“艺术与人民”的话题展开热烈研讨。
2018年是中央美术学院建校100周年,学院为此制定了迎接百年校庆的“百年辉煌”工程规划,设立了“百年辉煌•中央美术学院艺术名家”研究、展示和推广计划,以期更好地领方向,树楷模、立标准、育人才。“油画中国风——董希文百年诞辰纪念展”正是这项系统工作新的开始。今后,学院还将陆续举办其他重要学术活动,把中国美术和美术教育史上的一位位艺术名家展示给公众。

CAFA Art Museum Publication Authorization Agreement
I fully agree to CAFA Art Museum (CAFAM) submitting to CAFA for publication the images, pictures, texts, writings, and event products (such as works created during participation in workshops) related to me from my participation in public events (including museum member events) organized by the CAFA Art Museum Public Education Department. CAFA can publish these materials by electronic, web, or other digital means, and I hereby agree to be included in the China Knowledge Resource Bank, the CAFA Database, the CAFA Art Museum Database, and related data, documentation, and filing institutions and platforms. Regarding their use in CAFA and dissemination on the internet, I agree to make use of these rights according to the stated Rules.
CAFA Art Museum Event Safety Disclaimer
Article I
This event was organized on the principles of fairness, impartiality, and voluntary participation and withdrawal. Participants undertake all risk and liability for themselves. All events have risks, and participants must be aware of the risks related to their chosen event.
Article II
Event participants must abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, as well as moral and ethical norms. All participants must demonstrate good character, respect for others, friendship, and a willingness to help others.
Article III
Event participants should be adults (people 18 years or older with full civil legal capacity). Underage persons must be accompanied by an adult.
Article IV
Event participants undertake all liability for their personal safety during the event, and event participants are encouraged to purchase personal safety insurance. Should an accident occur during an event, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for the accident, but both have the obligation to provide assistance. Event participants should actively organize and implement rescue efforts, but do not undertake any legal or economic liability for the accident itself. The museum does not undertake civil or joint liability for the personal safety of event participants.
Article V
During the event, event participants should respect the order of the museum event and ensure the safety of the museum site, the artworks in displays, exhibitions, and collections, and the derived products. If an event causes any degree of loss or damage to the museum site, space, artworks, or derived products due to an individual, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for losses. The event participant must negotiate and provide compensation according to the relevant legal statutes and museum rules. The museum may sue for legal and financial liability.
Article VI
Event participants will participate in the event under the guidance of museum staff and event leaders or instructors and must correctly use the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities provided for the event. If a participant causes injury or harm to him/herself or others while using the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, or causes the damage or destruction of the tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, the event participant must undertake all related liability and provide compensation for the financial losses. Persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for personal accidents.
CAFA Art Museum Portraiture Rights Licensing Agreement
According to The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China, The General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and The Provisional Opinions of the Supreme People’s Court on Some Issues Related to the Full Implementation of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and upon friendly negotiation, Party A and Party B have arrived at the following agreement regarding the use of works bearing Party A’s image in order to clarify the rights and obligations of the portrait licenser (Party A) and the user (Party B):
I. General Provisions
(1) Party A is the portraiture rights holder in this agreement. Party A voluntarily licenses its portraiture rights to Party B for the purposes stipulated in this agreement and permitted by law.
(2) Party B (CAFA Art Museum) is a specialized, international modern art museum. CAFA Art Museum keeps pace with the times, and works to create an open, free, and academic space and atmosphere for positive interaction with groups, corporations, institutions, artists, and visitors. With CAFA’s academic research as a foundation, the museum plans multi-disciplinary exhibitions, conferences, and public education events with participants from around the world, providing a platform for exchange, learning, and exhibition for CAFA’s students and instructors, artists from around the world, and the general public. As a public institution, the primary purposes of CAFA Art Museum’s public education events are academic and beneficial to society.
(3) Party B will photograph all CAFA Public Education Department events for Party A.
II. Content, Forms of Use, and Geographical Scope of Use
(1) Content. The content of images taken by Party B bearing Party A’s likeness include: ① CAFA Art Museum ② CAFA campus ③ All events planned or executed by the CAFAM Public Education Department.
(2) Forms of Use. For use in CAFA’s publications, products with CDs, and promotional materials.
(3) Geographical Scope of Use
The applicable geographic scope is global.
The media in which the portraiture may be used encompasses any media that does not infringe upon Party A’s portraiture rights (e.g., magazines and the internet).
III. Term of Portraiture Rights Use
Use in perpetuity.
IV. Licensing Fees
The fees for images bearing Party A’s likeness will be undertaken by Party B.
After completion, Party B does not need to pay any fees to Party A for images bearing Party A’s likeness.
Additional Terms
(1) All matters not discussed in this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. Both parties may then sign a supplementary agreement, provided it does not violate any laws or regulations.
(2) This agreement comes into effect on the date that it is signed (sealed) and the relevant boxes are selected by Party A and Party B.
(3) This agreement exists in paper and electronic forms. The paper form is made in duplicate, with Party A and Party B each retaining one copy with the same legal efficacy.
Event participants implicitly accept and undertake all the obligations stated in this agreement. Those who do not consent will be seen as abandoning the right to participate in this event. Before participating in this event, please speak to your family members to obtain their consent and inform them of this disclaimer. After participants sign/check the required box, participants and their families will be seen as having read and agreed to these terms.
