关于动态之再B3BEIJING2015动态影像展

德国B3双年展是2013年在德国黑森州政府的支持下,由奥芬巴赫设计学院与黑森州电影与媒体学院( HFMA )合作共同发起举办的一个国际性动态影像盛事。

第二届B3动态影像双年展将于2015年的秋天在法兰克福和莱茵主要地区开展。本届B3将延续在2013年启动时的目标:创造移动影像的大联盟。基于这一出发点,双年展将遵循跨学科,跨流派的方式为艺术、电影、电视和游戏制作人以及导演、艺术家、设计师、科学家和任何形式的媒体业者提供一个良好互动的国际平台。

与此同时,本届B3动态影像双年展主办方将与中央美术学院深度合作,在2015.05.27-06.22间在中央美术学院美术馆先期举办“动态之再B3+BEIJING2015动态影像展”,展览中的优秀作品将参加10月在德国举办的B3动态影像双年展。“动态之再:B3+BEIJING 动态影像展”侧重于“移动影像”和“跨媒体”,此侧重点体现在传播渠道、展示方式和策展理念上;传播渠道拓宽到线上,展示方式除了线下主展现场外还会加入一些移动和线上板块;本次策展还将加入“科技”元素,在科学艺术方面做适当尝试。

人人都是策展人

人人都有权进行自己对于艺术的表达!

你可能不了解约瑟夫•博伊斯,但是你一定听说过他的金句“人人都是艺术家”,绘画、摄影、音乐、舞蹈、戏剧,越来越多的艺术展、工作坊、论坛和边界的创作工具让非专业的艺术爱好者们能够更便捷地参与到艺术实践中,在此过程中不断地挖掘个人想象力、创作潜质,并且接纳新的更加广阔的思想!

不过,“艺术家“也不是唯一通向艺术世界的身份。你是否听说过“策展人”这个职业,对此是否充满好奇和疑问?我们就是想换一种玩法,为可以做艺术家的“人人”也平行提供一个客串“策展人”的平台。

如果你从事的职业与艺术并无直接关联,但是偏偏每次有人聊到艺术时,都难免心头一热、眼前一亮,觉得自己也对艺术有难以言尽必须以实际行动付诸实践的冲动,那么这就是难得的机会;如果你的朋友圈中总是有一些足够文艺的朋友,隔三差五的刷着小视频,轻轻松松就把个人的美学观给分享了,而你又正好有一双品味独特,视角犀利的眼睛,那么这就是难得的机会。你不但可以扮演艺术创作者的角色,参与到国际与国内平台的联动艺术盛事中,还可以客串艺术项目的策展人,进入到非传统、多角度的创新策展计划中。

如果你本身对艺术无感,但是你有那么一位对艺术完全倾心的好基友、大闺蜜,或是……暗恋对象,那么这也是难得的机会。抛下那些绞尽脑汁也难以抉择的礼物备选项,为她/他众筹一次难得的人生体验吧!她/他的名字将出现在一个最高艺术学府的美术馆中,以“艺术家”和“策展人”的双重身份真实地参与到一次艺术盛会中,与国内顶级策展人共同完成一个展览的策划,甚至,还有可能跻身于下一场国际性的艺术现场中!

人人如何成为众筹策展人?

名词解释:策展人一词源于英文“curator”,全称“展览策划人”,是指在艺术展览活动中担任构思、组织、管理的专业人员。在西方语境中,“curator”通常是指在博物馆、美术馆等非赢利性艺术机构专职负责藏品研究、保管和陈列,或策划组织艺术展览的专业人员,也就是常设策展人。与之相对应的则是“independent curator”,通常译作“独立策展人”或“独立策划人”。

策展参与方式:在本次“动态之再B3+BEIJING2015动态影像展”中我们特别设置了面向公众开放的《流》动态影像公共项目。流:代表一次性、随机、信息流动、不确定的参与者、无意义却有集中串联以纵向流动的方式被呈现的概念。这是一个需要公众参与才能完成的艺术项目。在展览期间,以一百部手机作为创作与展览界面,众筹策展人将通过自主策展、邀请推荐策展两种方式组建微信群,并上传自己创作或挑选的小视频,上传结果会实时呈现在这一百部手机上。参与者上传的视频按纵向序列方式移动,在手机屏幕上呈现为一个移动影像视频流,同时观看者也可以滑动视频逐个观看参展视频。

自主策展:你可以设定主题和线索,锁定你朋友圈中最“艺术家”的五位朋友,邀请他们参加你的移动影像展,并筛选出他们发布在朋友圈中最好的小视频作品,你可以精心策划这些作品的展示逻辑和推出节奏,将它们按你自己的策展方案发布到项目微信群中。

邀请推荐策展:每一位被众筹策展人邀请的朋友既是“参展艺术家”又是“接力策展人”,他们也可以再各自邀请五位朋友……将这个策展过程传递下去。众筹者也可以选择推荐自己的某位朋友成为这个项目的联合策展人,组织并策划五位参与者的作品及呈现方式。


所有参与该项目的作品都将并只会被呈现在“动态之再B3+BEIJING2015动态影像展”展览现场《流》动态影像公共项目的一百部展示手机上,并将永远成为此艺术项目的一部分,还有望能够参加今年秋天在德国举行的第二届B3动态影像双年展。


为什么我需要你的支持及资金用途

I fully agree to CAFA Art Museum (CAFAM) submitting to CAFA for publication the images, pictures, texts, writings, and event products (such as works created during participation in workshops) related to me from my participation in public events (including museum member events) organized by the CAFA Art Museum Public Education Department. CAFA can publish these materials by electronic, web, or other digital means, and I hereby agree to be included in the China Knowledge Resource Bank, the CAFA Database, the CAFA Art Museum Database, and related data, documentation, and filing institutions and platforms. Regarding their use in CAFA and dissemination on the internet, I agree to make use of these rights according to the stated Rules.

CAFA Art Museum Event Safety Disclaimer

Article I

This event was organized on the principles of fairness, impartiality, and voluntary participation and withdrawal. Participants undertake all risk and liability for themselves. All events have risks, and participants must be aware of the risks related to their chosen event.

Article II

Event participants must abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, as well as moral and ethical norms. All participants must demonstrate good character, respect for others, friendship, and a willingness to help others.

Article III

Event participants should be adults (people 18 years or older with full civil legal capacity). Underage persons must be accompanied by an adult.

Article IV

Event participants undertake all liability for their personal safety during the event, and event participants are encouraged to purchase personal safety insurance. Should an accident occur during an event, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for the accident, but both have the obligation to provide assistance. Event participants should actively organize and implement rescue efforts, but do not undertake any legal or economic liability for the accident itself. The museum does not undertake civil or joint liability for the personal safety of event participants.

Article V

During the event, event participants should respect the order of the museum event and ensure the safety of the museum site, the artworks in displays, exhibitions, and collections, and the derived products. If an event causes any degree of loss or damage to the museum site, space, artworks, or derived products due to an individual, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for losses. The event participant must negotiate and provide compensation according to the relevant legal statutes and museum rules. The museum may sue for legal and financial liability.

Article VI

Event participants will participate in the event under the guidance of museum staff and event leaders or instructors and must correctly use the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities provided for the event. If a participant causes injury or harm to him/herself or others while using the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, or causes the damage or destruction of the tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, the event participant must undertake all related liability and provide compensation for the financial losses. Persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for personal accidents.

CAFA Art Museum Portraiture Rights Licensing Agreement

According to The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China, The General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and The Provisional Opinions of the Supreme People’s Court on Some Issues Related to the Full Implementation of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and upon friendly negotiation, Party A and Party B have arrived at the following agreement regarding the use of works bearing Party A’s image in order to clarify the rights and obligations of the portrait licenser (Party A) and the user (Party B):

I. General Provisions

(1) Party A is the portraiture rights holder in this agreement. Party A voluntarily licenses its portraiture rights to Party B for the purposes stipulated in this agreement and permitted by law.

(2) Party B (CAFA Art Museum) is a specialized, international modern art museum. CAFA Art Museum keeps pace with the times, and works to create an open, free, and academic space and atmosphere for positive interaction with groups, corporations, institutions, artists, and visitors. With CAFA’s academic research as a foundation, the museum plans multi-disciplinary exhibitions, conferences, and public education events with participants from around the world, providing a platform for exchange, learning, and exhibition for CAFA’s students and instructors, artists from around the world, and the general public. As a public institution, the primary purposes of CAFA Art Museum’s public education events are academic and beneficial to society.

(3) Party B will photograph all CAFA Public Education Department events for Party A.

II. Content, Forms of Use, and Geographical Scope of Use

(1) Content. The content of images taken by Party B bearing Party A’s likeness include: ① CAFA Art Museum ② CAFA campus ③ All events planned or executed by the CAFAM Public Education Department.

(2) Forms of Use. For use in CAFA’s publications, products with CDs, and promotional materials.

(3) Geographical Scope of Use

The applicable geographic scope is global.

The media in which the portraiture may be used encompasses any media that does not infringe upon Party A’s portraiture rights (e.g., magazines and the internet).

III. Term of Portraiture Rights Use

Use in perpetuity.

IV. Licensing Fees

The fees for images bearing Party A’s likeness will be undertaken by Party B.

After completion, Party B does not need to pay any fees to Party A for images bearing Party A’s likeness.

Additional Terms

(1) All matters not discussed in this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. Both parties may then sign a supplementary agreement, provided it does not violate any laws or regulations.

(2) This agreement comes into effect on the date that it is signed (sealed) and the relevant boxes are selected by Party A and Party B.

(3) This agreement exists in paper and electronic forms. The paper form is made in duplicate, with Party A and Party B each retaining one copy with the same legal efficacy.

Event participants implicitly accept and undertake all the obligations stated in this agreement. Those who do not consent will be seen as abandoning the right to participate in this event. Before participating in this event, please speak to your family members to obtain their consent and inform them of this disclaimer. After participants sign/check the required box, participants and their families will be seen as having read and agreed to these terms.
