“为中国画(第二回):中央美术学院中国画学院教学与创作展”拉开帷幕

2015年12月4日上午,“为中国画(第二回)——中央美术学院中国画学院教学与创作展”在中央美术学院美术馆开幕。此次展览全方位地呈现中国画学科的学院教学,特别是中央美术学院中国画学院正式建院以来的十年征程。展览以“起承转合”作为学术主题,在展现中国画学科特点的同时,梳理当下中国画教学、创作、研究的源与流、承与变、思考中国画学院教学发展的过去与未来。

中央美术学院院长范迪安在开幕式致辞中谈到,中国画教学和中央美术学院的历史一样悠久,中国画的教学在某种程度上是整个二十世纪以来的中国画教育,特别是中国画研究创作一方面的重要指引。此次展览就需要我们更进一步审视二十世纪以来前辈们所积累的丰富经验,并在此基础上来思考今天中国画教书育人的更科学、更正确、更有效的渠道。

他阐释了此次展览“起承转合”四个板块的意义:“起”指的是中国画的教学应该站在什么样的起点上;“承”指的是在传承专业传统的同时;还要传承中国文化的学养、中国文化的观念;“转”是要在传承的基础上更好的吸收当下时代的社会生活经历,使传统经验得以向创造转化;“合”讲的是开合、融合、综合,教师的创作要体现今天文化宽阔的视野和宽广的胸怀。

中国画的教学在美术学院应该是首要的,它是我们民族的艺术,民族的文化。而且在当前宽阔的国际交流中,更加需要用我们中国画艺术与国际艺术界对话,也只有中国画艺术可能优于其他类型的艺术,更能够为世界艺术带去新的精神,营养和启发”——范迪安特别引用了靳尚谊先生不久前就中国画学院教学提出的观点并表示,中国画的教学、创作和研究毫无疑问处在中国社会发展的新的征程、中国文化需要向世界树立中国精神、中国形象的关键时期。他希望能够借此次展览,更好的梳理中国画教学过往的经验,能够对今天提出新的思考,共同探讨在今天的形式下如何搞好教学,使得大家能够在整个中国画艺术和中国画教育发展的大业上携手,共同推动艺术的长足发展。



“中国之绘,史载千年。画事之兴,藉笔墨,呈文心,遂画道。近史,随新文化之变,维新融西,画运与时。自徐悲鸿先生始有中央美术学院,建有中国画系。其系大师如星,画延古脉,体融西学,如双溪而夹流,曲折委地而近百年……”中国画学院院长陈平为展览专门作长赋一首“为中国画赋”,将中国画学院的历史、学科结构、各专业特色以及此次主题“起承转合”以中国画学院特有的方式表达与现场嘉宾。针对此次展览所全面呈现的中国画学院教学与创作实力,他说,“今之所呈,皆拟园丁之春勤,携学子似秋实。授之欣愉,学之豁塞。故桃李成林,芳馨世界。嗟乎,为中国画乃我等己命也。”



中国美术学院副院长王赞代表兄弟院校致辞,他表示中央美术学院与中国美术学院中国画教学同为国家高等美术教育命运的共同体,两所学校在国家和民族危亡之际,以中国画学的命运发展为已任,为民族的艺术作为自身的担当,创作出代表中华民族发展新中国艺术的前进方向。两所学校同时也是现代中国画教育的摇篮,在人才培养、教学改革,艺术学科研创作等方面面对共同的问题和共同的责任,面对未来,也应共同思考中国画如何走向国际,如何建构一整套中国现代文化思想引领下的中国画创作。



这次展览是继2010年在中国美术馆举行的“为中国画——中央美院中国画学院教师作品展”之后,再次以同一主题举办的展览。今年恰逢中国画学院建院十周年,为了集中而完整地展现这一学术历程,此次展览以总策展范迪安教授提出的“起承转合”作为展览的学术主题。“起承转合”作为艺术创作常用的结构技巧,本出自文学创作惯用的行文方法,后来逐渐泛指文章的写作手法,同时又暗合中国画创作的画理画法中章法图式的结构。中国画讲虚实、讲气势、讲经营、讲布局,讲位置。一画一笔一点一线之间,也有起、承、转、合。尤在大幅画作中,更需体现明确的主题与清晰的章回段落,追求开篇起势,中段承势,尔后转势,最后合势。“起承转合”亦是中国画创作、教学与研究的四个维度,“起”意味着起点、起立、起源,“承”意味着传承、承接,“转”意味着创新、转换、蒙养,“合”则指向了综合、融合。“起承转合”作为中国画人才培养和走向的路径,更揭示了中央美术学院中国画创作、创作与研究的特色。



当天,以“中国画教学与中国画发展”为主题的学术研讨会、“中国高等院校中国画教学”交流座谈会在美术馆举行,以此次展览为契机,集国内相关领域具有影响力和代表性的艺术家、理论家与中国画教学领域的专家,共同研讨当代中国画教学、创作与研究之道。

During the event, event participants should respect the order of the museum event and ensure the safety of the museum site, the artworks in displays, exhibitions, and collections, and the derived products. If an event causes any degree of loss or damage to the museum site, space, artworks, or derived products due to an individual, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for losses. The event participant must negotiate and provide compensation according to the relevant legal statutes and museum rules. The museum may sue for legal and financial liability.

Article VI

Event participants will participate in the event under the guidance of museum staff and event leaders or instructors and must correctly use the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities provided for the event. If a participant causes injury or harm to him/herself or others while using the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, or causes the damage or destruction of the tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, the event participant must undertake all related liability and provide compensation for the financial losses. Persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for personal accidents.

CAFA Art Museum Portraiture Rights Licensing Agreement

According to The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China, The General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and The Provisional Opinions of the Supreme People’s Court on Some Issues Related to the Full Implementation of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and upon friendly negotiation, Party A and Party B have arrived at the following agreement regarding the use of works bearing Party A’s image in order to clarify the rights and obligations of the portrait licenser (Party A) and the user (Party B):

I. General Provisions

(1) Party A is the portraiture rights holder in this agreement. Party A voluntarily licenses its portraiture rights to Party B for the purposes stipulated in this agreement and permitted by law.

(2) Party B (CAFA Art Museum) is a specialized, international modern art museum. CAFA Art Museum keeps pace with the times, and works to create an open, free, and academic space and atmosphere for positive interaction with groups, corporations, institutions, artists, and visitors. With CAFA’s academic research as a foundation, the museum plans multi-disciplinary exhibitions, conferences, and public education events with participants from around the world, providing a platform for exchange, learning, and exhibition for CAFA’s students and instructors, artists from around the world, and the general public. As a public institution, the primary purposes of CAFA Art Museum’s public education events are academic and beneficial to society.

(3) Party B will photograph all CAFA Public Education Department events for Party A.

II. Content, Forms of Use, and Geographical Scope of Use

(1) Content. The content of images taken by Party B bearing Party A’s likeness include: ① CAFA Art Museum ② CAFA campus ③ All events planned or executed by the CAFAM Public Education Department.

(2) Forms of Use. For use in CAFA’s publications, products with CDs, and promotional materials.

(3) Geographical Scope of Use

The applicable geographic scope is global.

The media in which the portraiture may be used encompasses any media that does not infringe upon Party A’s portraiture rights (e.g., magazines and the internet).

III. Term of Portraiture Rights Use

Use in perpetuity.

IV. Licensing Fees

The fees for images bearing Party A’s likeness will be undertaken by Party B.

After completion, Party B does not need to pay any fees to Party A for images bearing Party A’s likeness.

Additional Terms

(1) All matters not discussed in this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. Both parties may then sign a supplementary agreement, provided it does not violate any laws or regulations.

(2) This agreement comes into effect on the date that it is signed (sealed) and the relevant boxes are selected by Party A and Party B.

(3) This agreement exists in paper and electronic forms. The paper form is made in duplicate, with Party A and Party B each retaining one copy with the same legal efficacy.

Event participants implicitly accept and undertake all the obligations stated in this agreement. Those who do not consent will be seen as abandoning the right to participate in this event. Before participating in this event, please speak to your family members to obtain their consent and inform them of this disclaimer. After participants sign/check the required box, participants and their families will be seen as having read and agreed to these terms.
